It occurs most commonly to sexually active teenagers and young adults, especially those people who have multiple sex partners. Some common STDs are:

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) refers to a range of specific illnesses that people with HIV may get when their immune system is badly damaged. Even though symptoms of chlamydia are usually mild or absent, serious complications that cause irreversible damage, including infertility, can occur "silently" before a woman ever recognizes a problem. Chlamydia also can cause discharge from the penis of an infected man.

Trichomoniasis

Trichomoniasis is an another common sexually transmitted disease (STD) that affects both women and men, although symptoms are mostly common in women.

STD is harmful for life, so always discuss with opposite partner about their sexual and STD history before having sex. Prevention is possible only if sexually active individuals understand STDs and how they are spread.
